Intervuz ("Intervuz", "we", "us", "our") operates the website intervuz.com and the Intervuz skill-assessment, interview-prep and kids' learning platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you sign up.
• Profile information: details you choose to add — career track, field/role, years of experience, skills, headline, and (for kids accounts) the child's age band and class/board/subject.
• Activity data: assessments, mock interviews, quests, syllabus practice, scores, answers, streaks, points and badges you generate while using the Service.
• Payment information: when you purchase a plan or credits, payments are processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not store your full card or banking details; we retain only the order reference, amount, status and timestamps.
• Technical & usage data: device/browser type, pages viewed and basic interaction events, collected via cookies and analytics (see below).

2. Children's privacy

The Kids Zone is designed for children and is intended to be used under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Accounts for children should be created and managed by a parent/guardian. For children we collect only what is needed to run the learning experience (e.g., first name, age band, class/subject and learning progress). We do not show third-party advertising to children, and we do not knowingly sell children's personal data. Parents/guardians may review, request changes to, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting contactus@intervuz.com. If you believe a child has provided us data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
• To generate and personalise assessments, prep packs, interview questions and kids' quizzes (including AI-generated content).
• To process payments, manage plans/credits and prevent fraud.
• To send essential service emails (sign-up verification, results, streak reminders, receipts).
• To understand usage and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share limited data with trusted processors only to operate the Service:

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• OpenAI — to generate and score assessment, interview and quiz content (your answers/inputs may be sent to generate results).
• Email delivery provider — to send transactional emails.
• Hosting & database providers — to host the application and store your data securely.
• Analytics (Google Analytics) — aggregate usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to records we must legally retain, such as payment records).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (including encrypted connections and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version, and material changes will be communicated through the Service.
